Tamo CrossThere are only a handful of places in the world where you can see bioluminescent plankton in such a nice setting. Sometimes called the ‘Tears of the Ocean’ or ‘Sea of Stars’, the effect of glowing plankton can be seen exclusively by night. Unfortunately I did not catch any pictures of it this time (the beach is nice during the say, too 🙂) , but what is fantastic about the Koh Rong Islands is that you can experience the magic right at the beach and even on your own skin if you go for a night swim. I promise next time I’ll bring back a picture of it. Did you already swim in glowing plankton? 🏝️ And if so, where?
